FAMILY SESSIONS

Real life, real love—wild, messy, and AUTHENTICALLY yours.

  • When choosing a location for your family photos, think about what feels most like you—whether that’s a scenic mountain view, a cozy park, or your own backyard. I always look for places with great natural light, some space for kids to move, and simple backgrounds that won’t distract from your connection. Most importantly, choose somewhere that lets your family feel relaxed and free to be yourselves.

  • For a family photo shoot, go for coordinated, not matching—choose a color palette of 2–3 tones that work well together (think earthy neutrals, soft blues, warm rusts, or muted greens). Comfort is key—wear clothes you can move in and feel confident in, and avoid bold logos, neon colors, or tiny patterns that can distract on camera. Layers, textures (like knits or denim), and a mix of solids and subtle prints look great and add depth to your photos.

  • Posing families is all about creating natural connection, comfort, and movement. We’ll start with a few posed options, then let the kiddos run around and play to get the authentic laughter. I’ll have spontaneous prompts throughout to make the session flow seamlessly while we have fun.

  • Yes I do! I think its important for everyone to have authentic photos of their family, so I try to offer 3-4 themed mini sessions throughout the year.
